The caterpack is an all purpose sealing machine.
New sealing area 350mmx350mm The Caterpak is an all-purpose foodsealing machine. It is designed to bag food products in a totally sealed filmbag for presentation and protection purposes. Weight 30 kgs.
The overall size of the machine is 800mm x 550mm wide, anextremely compact maintenance free, bench-mounted ‘L’ sealer operating from a13 amp power supply.
The machine is designed for use withall food products, plated meals, sandwiches, morning goods, baked productsand confectionary lines.
The Caterpak uses a variety ofdifferent materials such as PVC and polypropylene – all of which areex-stock. They are all food approved and conform to the latest EEC Directivein List A of Annexe 2 of 90/128/EEC. Glass clear polypropylene film is themost commonly used for snacks and plated foods. This material is available ina variety of widths, centrefolded, multi-perforated for crusty bread, plain,printed in up to four colours and available in shrink and non-shrink types.
The Caterpak has a large 350mm x 350mm sealing area, afully adjustable stainless steel tray to accomodate different height packs,and can operate at up to 10 packs per minute. The sealing wires are fullyprotected by a Teflon blind, which is rotatable and prevents the burning offilm. The sealing wires are controlled to a maximum 15 volts from a largetransformer, which gives a constantly heated wire seal, therefore there is nodwell time or impulse seal, making the unit virtually maintenance free.
