The caterpack is an all purpose sealing machine.
New sealing area 350mmx350mm The Caterpak is an all-purpose food sealing machine. It is designed to bag food products in a totally sealed film bag for presentation and protection purposes. Weight 30 kgs.
The overall size of the machine is 800mm x 550mm wide, an extremely compact maintenance free, bench-mounted ‘L’ sealer operating from a13 amp power supply.
The machine is designed for use with all food products, plated meals, sandwiches, morning goods, baked products and confectionary lines.

The Caterpak uses a variety of different materials such as PVC and polypropylene – all of which are ex-stock. They are all food approved and conform to the latest EEC Directive in List A of Annexe 2 of 90/128/EEC. Glass clear polypropylene film is the most commonly used for snacks and plated foods. This material is available in a variety of widths, centre folded, multi-perforated for crusty bread, plain, printed in up to four colours and available in shrink and non-shrink types.
The Caterpak has a large 350mm x 350mm sealing area, a fully adjustable stainless steel tray to accomodate different height packs, and can operate at up to 10 packs per minute. The sealing wires are fully protected by a Teflon blind, which is rotatable and prevents the burning of film. The sealing wires are controlled to a maximum 15 volts from a large transformer, which gives a constantly heated wire seal, therefore there is no dwell time or impulse seal, making the unit virtually maintenance free.
