The bowls and the lid both have the triangle 1 symbol.  This means

Picked up by most curbside recycling programs. Plastic #1 is usually clear and used to make soda and water bottles.

• Plastic #1 is recycled into tote bags, furniture, carpet, paneling, fiber, and polar fleece.

We buy our bowls from Sabert.  They guarantee that at least 70% of the plastic is recycled.  Plus 100% of all their internal waste is re-used into RPET bowls.  By implementing this in 2018 Sabert saved 2.65 million litres of oil.

Saberts recycle program is also certified for food safety. They have EFSA status – (European Food Safety Authority)

Saberts RPET can be fully recycled several times and still have original properties.
